Study Tips

Rob has the following tips for studying for the SAT:

1. Slow and steady wins the race! Do a little bit of work each day. Just 20 minutes of test prep daily will help immensely and produce much better results than cramming the night before a tutoring session or test.

2. Flash cards are an excellent tool for studying vocabulary. Get someone in your family to quiz you, or make a game out of it. Anything to make it more enjoyable!

3. READ! Anything will do: newspapers, magazines, books for pleasure, books for school. The more you read, the better you'll do when faced with those reading comprehension sections on the test.
