Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (minimum), strong and verifiable test scores, and 3+ years of prior teaching or tutoring experience at a reputable firm. At Stumptown Test Prep, our tutors:

• Provide customized 1-on-1 instruction for a student’s needs, adapting as necessary to facilitate progress.

• Build strong, empathetic relationships with students (and parents) to inspire confidence and ease concerns about college admissons.

• Oversee the preparation and follow-up for all sessions to ensure an outstanding learning experience for our students.

• Create assignments, foster student accountability, and track progress within our rubric.

• Contribute to a collaborative and collegial team environment.

• Support the interests, growth, and long-term success of clients and colleagues alike.
